Support traffic design, planning, lighting, signalization and ITS programs and in Orlando, FL and have a role in transforming tomorrow.
Located in our Orlando office, the position is for a detail-oriented, self-starter to support existing project needs and expand the transportation market in Florida. You will be responsible for plans production, project coordination, technical discipline expertise, production staff management and mentoring, and quality control coordination for a variety of projects.
Our work includes design and preparation of construction plans for the traffic, lighting and signalization components of roadway projects and support for rail/transit projects, PD&E studies, planning studies, review/preparation of lighting and signal warrant studies, traffic impact studies, traffic operations analysis reports and safety studies. This position will support projects throughout Florida.
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited college or university • At least 6 years of experience with transportation engineering projects with recognized expertise for traffic, signalization and/or lighting topics • Florida PE or ability to obtain within 6 months if registered in another state • Must have plan production experience and preferably FDOT plans preparation experience. • Required experience with FDOT design criteria, standards and specifications and the development of Technical Specifications.
