The Department of Civil Engineering, Construction Management, and Environmental Engineering at Northern Arizona University is accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, benefit eligible instructor level position in the Civil and Environmental Engineering programs commencing August 2018.
This position is a one year, sabbatical replacement position. The department is committed to provide significant training to the successful candidate in the area of university teaching and engineering education. The department is further committed to provide some support for the successful candidates doctoral research if any is continuing. Renewal of the contract beyond one year is not guaranteed and depends on funding and program needs. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in engineering mechanics and geotechnical engineering. The course load may include:

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Demonstrated desire to pursue an academic career.
Ph.D. candidate or recently completed PH.D. in Civil Engineering

Additional Salary Information: For candidates with a Masters degree $42,000-45,000. For candidates with an earned PhD the salary range is $51,000-55,000
