Reporting to the WTC Senior Security Manager and, ultimately the Director of WTC Security, the responsibilities of the WTC Sr. Security & Technology Analyst will include the management and implementation of technology based security systems. The individual shall be responsible for developing, implementing, and communicating technology based policies and information. The WTC Sr. Security & Technology Analyst will support the mission of the WTC site and WTC Security Department by managing security system programs from design to deployment to integration, while demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional industry knowledge. The responsibilities of this position will include:
Development and communication of cyber-security related policies.
Resolution of any issues related to the Site-Wide Security Network, radio communications, and any other network or communications-related issues for all WTC Security efforts.
Project management functions for third party consultant efforts related to security systems.
Management of CCTV and access control systems from design to installation to integration.
Development and installation of the Situational Awareness Platform Software (SAPS) system.
Development of implementation and integration schedules.
Development of technical requirements for the WTC Campus Security Plan.
Management and integration of vehicle screening technology.
In addition, WTC Sr. Security & Technology Analyst will provide security subject matter expertise, and will inform key decisions of the WTC Security Technology Program, through the development of concept of operations, standard operating procedures documents and other security technology policies.
The successful candidate will provide leadership for the execution and completion of technology based projects to meet the requirements of the Director of WTC Security. The WTC Sr. Security & Technology Analyst will be responsible for addressing the various technological needs, concerns and expectations of the Director of WTC Security, while balancing and communicating competitive constraints including resources, time, budget, quality and scope. He/she will also develop and maintain technical and project documentation; measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project; identify and quantify any variances; perform any required corrective actions; and communicate to the Director of WTC Security or stakeholders. Additionally, the WTC Sr. Security & Technology Analyst will continuously analyze project risk, develop mitigation strategies and drive resolution of issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:
A Bachelor's Degree in the area of Security Management, Technology, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university
5 years’ experience in the area of security operation systems. Ideal candidates will present the following profile:
