Develops, supports and provides systems administration of the College of Engineering's web services offerings to include 200+ Drupal websites, PHP, and Ruby on Rails based web applications; assists in the management of infrastructure required to deliver these services including Linux web and database servers; serves as administrator for Engineering Technology Services (ETS) and individual unit databases; responsible for the design, administration, analysis and monitoring of college and unit databases; continuously works to improve web services capabilities by exploring and incorporating current trends in development and operations; provides solutions for new work flow automation and maintenance; performs systems administration related to user environment; documents and reports on projects, systems and statistics, databases and software; assists with Linux system administration, as necessary; ensures all federal, state, university and college policies are followed; manages and meets all compliance and reporting requirements of the university, college, departments, centers and/or units, as needed; adheres to the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 best practice framework in an effort to ensure the availability, security and performance of infrastructure systems and fulfillment of customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or vocational or technical school agree, or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience with Drupal, PHP and/or Ruby on Rails; experience with web development; experience with MySQL/MariaDB, MS SQL, and other database technologies.
Experience with Linux strongly desired; experience with Git or similar version control system; experience with Pantheon or other web hosting environment; experience with Docker or similar containerization architecture; experience with ITIL v3 Foundations and industry best practices.
Target Salary: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually
