City and Borough of Sitka seeks a manager with superior skills and extensive experience in Public Works and public utility operation, and in execution of municipal capital projects. Public Works services include Streets, Water/ Wastewater, Engineering, Building Dept., Building Maintenance, Solid Waste, Parks and Recreation, Central Garage.
Plans, organizes and directs the Engineering Division including 5 FTE’s and a capital improvement plan valued at over $100-million; performs other related work as required.

Acceptable experience and training in design and construction management including a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Prior experience as a Municipal or City Engineer is preferred. Possession of a Professional Engineering License is required with the ability to obtain reciprocity in Alaska within one year of employment.
