Independently provide instruction for new and existing Rail Transportation personnel. Campus locations Essex, Dundalk, Catonsville, Hunt Valley, Randallstown and Owings Mills .
High school diploma/GED and five years' experience working in Rail Transportation required. Proficient computer technology knowledge, especially all Microsoft Office software. Must have a valid driver's license, with a good driving record with less than 5 violation points.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
Position dependent on Contract Award and duration of Award.

CLASS SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Seek continuous improvement in teaching methodology and student centered learning.
Stay current in all areas for Rail Transportation Operators and Station Attendants.
Maintain scheduled availability to students.
Develop an individual professional development plan.
Maintain classrooms, supplies and equipment.
Remain knowledgeable about the college, its structure, culture, policies, practices, and Rail Transportation Personnel Training certifications and initiatives.
Serve as an advocate for the college and its students, as required.
POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Develop curricula and teach courses that meet requirements for Rail Transportation certification training.
Teach assigned courses, utilizing strategies and activities to promote student engagement and enhanced student learning at a variety of locations.
Follow established rules and guidelines for Rail Transportation Personnel Training, for certification requirements, and of the college.
Maintain certifications as required for Rail Transportation Personnel Training.
Participate in administrative duties as required.
