A rapidly growing design-build geotechnical contracting firm, seeks a remoteGeotechnical Engineer with a desire and ability to work in business development /sales.
**This is NOT an internship.
This is a remote work-from-home position to reside anywhere in the State of TX.
This is a permanent position with outstanding compensation, uncapped commission potential and benefits package for the right candidates..
The Geotechnical Engineer will handle primarily public sector & transportation projects involving, soil erosion control, rock fall mitigation geohazard mitigation, rockslide remediation and other geotechnical challenges/ geohazards.
This engineering position has a business development and sales component. Warm leads will be provided in the public entity/ public sector and transportation industries, and the engineer will acquire new project business from these entities and subsequently consult on each project. Geotechnical Engineer must have strong desire and ability to work in business development / sales, can work in a fast paced environment and make decisions and assessments on the fly, can travel extensively throughout an assigned geographical region, is a self starter and can self manage, and has a strong desire to develop their own book of business.
Must have current PE license
BS degree in Civil Engineering (Masters in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering preferred).
MUST HAVE 10+ years experience in Geotechnical/Geohazardous experience.
Previous experience in the geotechnical construction industry, public sector transportation maintenance preferred.
Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) required.
