Works with users in determining problem analysis and resolution.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents programs or systems of low to moderate complexity.
Assists in research and fact-finding to develop or modify software systems of low to moderate complexity.
Research, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
May assist in planning, implementing, tracking and/or reporting on low to moderately complex projects.
Modifies application programs from detailed specifications.
Review code written by peers to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets project standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
Modify procedures to solve low to moderately complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
Validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
Amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required
Intermediate to expert level technical understanding of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities including declarative/programmatic development, Apex & Visualforce coding, and AppExchange offerings. This would include experience with developing apex triggers, apex classes (including test classes), visual force controllers, workflows/approval rules using custom code etc.
Strong experience with writing Visual Force pages, data modeling, user interface development and a thorough understanding of SalesForce security, permissions profile, etc.
Experience leveraging web services to integrate Salesforce with external apps (REST, XML, JSON, etc.)
A strong, up to date commercial knowledge of Salesforce Lightning is highly desirable / working knowledge of Lightning framework
Proficiency with Relational Database Management Systems such SQL Server and Oracle
Experience with PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, SSIS, AWS, DNN and any SalesForce developer certification(s) are desired but not required.
