Hudson County Community College is an award-winning, comprehensive urban college with two campuses located just minutes from Manhattan in Jersey City and Union City, NJ. The College is currently searching for a full-time College Lecturer for the Radiography program. This person provides theoretical and clinical instruction as assigned by the Program Director, provides advisement for students, assists in curriculum development and review, and participates in College and professional development activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, the role of a comprehensive community college in an urban, multi-cultural setting. Finalists will be required to submit official transcripts. The position is a 12-month administrative position.
Current x-ray license in New Jersey & New York as a diagnostic radiographer;
Three years of full-time experience in the professional discipline; two years as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited radiography program;
Master’s Degree required.
Current certification (or equivalent) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and active registration in the pertinent discipline;
Proficient in areas of curriculum design, program administration, assessment, evaluation, instruction and counseling with 2 years of college-level teaching;
Member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists;
Member of the New Jersey State Society of Radiologic Technologists;
Member of the New Jersey Educators of Radiological Imaging.
