Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or related field and 7 years related experience (higher education or code examples/open-source projects may count toward experience),
Experience as a full-stack software engineer with an emphasis on backend and database access
Experience with at least one modern MVW Toolkit (Django, Rails, NodeJS, Spring, etc.) in a modern programming language (Java, Python, Ruby, Scala, JS)
Experience with permissions-based object-level access control
Experience building Internet-facing applications and maintaining cloud-based IaaS environments
Experience building and maintaining API platforms (REST or web services)
Experience with federated authentication (OAuth or SAML)
Experience with version control systems and team software development (preferably Git)
Candidate must be able to self-start and develop own timelines in consultation with colleagues
Proven large scale software application development
Experience operating independently
Background in healthcare and genomics
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superb organizational skills and multitasking efficiency
Extreme attention to detail
