Senior Procurment Specialist for Design Build and Alternative Delivery Projects
Successful candidate will have industry knowledge to advise and consult on specific management approaches to optimize the use of integrated design build and other alternative delivery methods in achieving successful projects. The candidate to have design build advisory/implementation services to both public and private clients.
Qualifications and skills
10+ Years of experience in design build and alternative delivery projects/programs
PMP certification preferred
Excellent presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
Productive, willing to take initiative, be resourceful and detailed oriented
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at an executive level
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of software such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Facilitate risk assessment workshop to include input from stakeholders
Provide real life examples of successful prior project “best practices” including those define by DBIA
Facilitate best value source selection pre-award process to include specialized training for the evaluation committee members or other groups as needed
Support the evaluation committee members during pre-award interviews, analysis and scoring of competitive proposals, identifying weaknesses and/or deficiencies in proposals, review best and final offers etc.
Facilitating formal partnering workshops on behalf of the client during the post award phase
Project Procurment Support
Review and recommendations during procurement process - RFQ phase I - qualifications phase
Review comparative SOQ proposals
Advice and selecting the 3 most qualified build teams
Debrief committee on recommendations for RFQ prequalification/short listing process the most qualified define bill teams
Development of the design criteria document - RFP phase II- technicalReview comparative is so cute proposal some metal and price proposal process
Assist during the design criteria development proposal evaluation process
Participate in the source selection process for procuring design criteria developer services
Review final contract documents
Post award phase contract administration
Provide peer review of contract administration procedures and provide comment/recommendations in accordance with DBIA based practice
Advice in developing simple design build contract administration documents
Review:comment on existing administration procedures and document
