Position Summary and Responsibilities The Department of Sociology at Vassar College invites applications for two three-year full-time positions at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2020. Specializations in media and culture may include one or more of the following: Trans-nationalism, globalization, or social movements. Individuals in both positions will be expected to teach the department's theory-based Introductory Sociology course. The teaching load is 5 courses per year.
