Looking to make some extra money this summer? AMLI Residential is currently seeking a professional and customer service oriented Amenity/Pool Monitor at our luxury apartment community in Marina Del Rey. As the Pool/Amenity Monitor, you will help enforce all rules, maintain the pool area clean and develop a friendly relationship with residents. This temporary position pays $14/hour with approximately 24 hours per week (Noon - 8:00 pm, Friday through Sunday); hours may vary per location. The position runs through the end of September.
Disinfect all surfaces (i.e., bathrooms, pool rails, door knobs, handles, chairs, tables, management will provide a full list) after each block of resident usage.
Allow residents to use pool toys we provide.
Patrol pool area.
Return to attendant station as residents arrive.
Answer resident questions.
Maintain order in swimming area.
Enforce rules while checking for violations.
Periodically, straighten out pool furniture, move items found in walkways and pick up any trash in and around pool area.
Inspect pool area restrooms and showers for cleanliness.
Inform management if janitorial services are needed to empty trash cans, clean up spills or when restrooms need to be cleaned and/or stocked.
Pick up all trash found around pool and in pool landscaping.
Inform management when your break will start and when you have returned to post.
Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by Management.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all supplies and work area.
Assist all residents/guests at pool and requests courteously and efficiently according to AMLI standards.
Complete accident/incident forms for all incidents in a timely manner when required.
Return attendant table and all other job related supplies to designated areas.
Make final patrol of pool area and straighten out pool furniture, move items found in walkways and pick up any trash in and around pool area.
Turn in all waivers to management.
High School Diploma or GED
18 years of age or older
Must be willing and able to work out of doors for long periods of time in various types of weather.
Must be available Friday-Sunday.
Willing and able to lift and move equipment, trash bags, and other miscellaneous items both indoors and outdoors. Frequent physical movement is expected.
