Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide technical and strategic product management for core library systems
Full-stack development and product life-cycle management for Blacklight Ruby-on-Rails open-source discovery system and Database List application built on FOLIO framework and deployed in containers on AWS
Manage locally hosted vendor systems, including EZproxy and SFX, including coordinating server resources with the systems operations team, writing and scheduling cron jobs, and improving features and functionality for patrons and library staff
Orchestrate exchange and transformations of large amounts of complex data, while ensuring data security, for systems integrations, reporting, and search engine tuning
Automate system configuration, primarily using Ansible, and coordinate version upgrades and functional releases
Contribute at a high level to strategic planning for library systems, including project scope definition, functional requirements analysis, technology evaluation, systems architecture design, risk assessment, and
