Position Introduction The Department of Chinese and Japanese at Vassar College invites applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor of Japanese for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Position Description Experience in Japanese language teaching is expected. Responsibilities include Japanese language courses, a course in the candidate's discipline, and the supervision of students' independent work. Candidates with expertise in fields such as Japanese linguistics, literature, and language pedagogy are desirable.
