In this role, you will support Maternal/Child Health Service Line and provide technical and analytical support for data analysis and evaluation in the performance improvement process.
Responsibilities:
Facilitates the peer review process with other medical staff and supports the quality improvement processes with customers in order to enhance the quality of patient care.
Assimilates, evaluates, and submits reports to proactively develop quality activities aligned with strategies and values. Presents and exercises discretion and judgement when analyzing data collected in format beneficial to users.
Participates in multidisciplinary teams and collaborative projects for performance improvement.
Assists Chief Patient Safety Officer in planning and executing the Performance Improvement Program for the hospital.
Performs chart review for data reporting. Collects data for external data requirements and benchmarking.
Screens compliance with quality measures using pre-established criteria and department standards.
Requirements:
Associate's degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Two years of acute hospital care with direct involvement with performance improvement and management of clinical databases.
Valid NJ License.
