Successful fire sprinkler contractor seeks a full time fire sprinkler designer to join our engineering team in Western North Carolina. Candidates should have 5+ years of sprinkler design experience including survey, layout, hydraulic calculations and stock listing. Qualified candidates must coordinate permits, submittals, attend job meetings, troubleshoot problems with the field foreman, assist sales department in bidding projects and other duties associated with the nature of the job.
Minimum requirements include:
5 years experience as a fire sprinkler designer;
NICET Level I in Fire Protection Engineering Technology Water-Based (formerly Automatic Sprinkler) Systems Layout;
Proficient in Hydrocad/AutoCAD and hydraulic calculations;
Working knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps;
