Overview / Responsibilities* Wood is looking for a Construction Manager to be the primary liaison with the Air Force assigned to Hurlburt Field. This position will perform quality assurance, construction oversight and project management services for a large construction project at Hill AFB, UT. Key Responsibilities - Construction quality assurance inspections and reporting
- Leading design reviews
- Monitor Code and permit compliance
- Coordinate and attend construction progress meetings
- Close - out and site restoration compliance
- Operations and Maintenance Manual Reviews
- Review and oversight of contractor’s health and safety program, quality control program and environmental program
- Review and recommendation of contractor Submittals, Shop Drawings, Requests for Information and Change Order Requests
- Attend final inspections and punch list review
- Close - out and site restoration compliance
- Labor compliance evaluations
- Provide Government weekly project reports
- Monitor work progress
Skills / Qualifications* - Prior DoD Experience in construction or facilities – either Active Duty, Civilian Service or DoD Contractor
- Active Duty: E - 7, E - 8, E - 9, O - 3, O - 4 or O - 5
- Civilian Employment: GS - 10 or above
- DoD Contractor: Project Manager
- 8+ years of construction management and project management services
- Proactive, polished, independent, technically competent, assertive, well - spoken and proven ability to successfully perform in high pressure environments
- Knowledgeable of military / construction processes to include Submittal review, RFI review, Army CoE CQC practices
- Minimum of Associates degree in engineering discipline or construction / project management
