Job Description SKILLS: * Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hardcopy drawings and work instructions. * Follow standardized methods of work to accomplish an established set of assembly tasks. * Assemble components and sub-assemblies in an assembly line fashion per specific defined process and in defined time frame. * Use tools including: Component Lead Cutters and Crimpers, Forming and Insertion Press Fixtures, Hand Tools, Fully Automated Test Systems, and Lifting Fixtures. * Work from established product bill of materials and assembly drawings of products. * Use tools including: Torque Drivers, Lifting Fixtures, and Hoist & Crane. * Work from established product bill of materials and assembly drawings of products currently manufactured and previously manufactured products from a variety of Manufacturing Operations facilities. * Follow instructions provided by a Tester to perform rework of product test anomalies. * Perform general preparation prior to product shipment. * Manufacturing order support including engraving, labels, reports. * Handle heavy gauge electrical wiring and plumbing routing and assembly in repetitive product manufacturing. * Use tools including: Wire Strippers, Wire Luggers, Torque Drivers, and Lifting Fixtures. * Comfortable working from elevated surfaces * Work from established product bill of materials, wiring schematics, and layout drawings of products currently manufactured and previously manufactured products from a variety of Manufacturing Operations facilities. * Evaluate unique assembly and disassembly requirements and prepare an approach based upon safe work practices. * Assess products returned from customers for service and plan restoration of control modules. * Clean control modules, restore painted surfaces, and perform general preparation prior to product shipment. * Read and interpret engineering assembly drawings and electrical schematics. * Plan and develop methods of work to accomplish a wide variety of assembly tasks. * Dimension and layout electrical panel components per workmanship standards and concept drawings. * Identify and select appropriate wire types and gauges based upon electrical schematics and workmanship standards. * Handle heavy gauge electrical wiring and plumbing routing and assembly. * Use tools including: Stud Welder, Green Lee Punch, Heavy Wire Lugging, DIN Rail Cutter, Band Saw, Custom Lifting Fixtures. * Work from partial product bill of materials, wiring schematics, and layout drawings of products currently manufactured and previously manufactured products from a variety of Manufacturing Operations facilities. * Design and construct custom shipping pallets and crates. * Interact with, receive guidance from, and provide constructive feedback to Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Design Engineering. * Demonstrated expertise within SAP, FTPC, Optel, GPM, and other manufacturing software / systems. * Comfortable using computer technology to perform work assignments * Determine priorities, delegate work assignments, and provide scheduling for shift balancing purposes * Identify potential roadblocks to team goals, propose solutions and resources needed, to the team, supervisor, or management. * Demonstrated understanding and logical approach to analyses and problem solving techniques. * Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. * Ability to operate independently and productively with minimum supervision. * Ability to interact with differing temperaments and backgrounds MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma/GED * 6 year of related experience We are an Equal Opportunity Employer including disability and veterans.
