American Public Transportation Association (APTA) seeks a Program Manager-Technical Services to perform work related to initiatives in support of APTA members’ bus and rail operations. This position is also responsible for a broad range of committee and standards development facilitation and administration, support of APTA workshops, conferences, and peer reviews, as well as other project support as assigned.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two to four years of project management experience in public transportation or a related field. Specific expertise with bus or rail programs/operations is desirable. Must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, have to ability to work effectively with people and organizations as well as work independently and under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines. Must be able to travel to conferences and meetings as needed.
