The Legal Department of the Metropolitan Water District has an opening for a Sr. Deputy General Counsel in the General Counsel Office. Metropolitan is seeking counsel with expertise in public agency law including the Brown Act, the California Public Records Act, CEQA, administrative and public conflict laws, public agency contracts, public agency employment, and experience with environmental laws and permits applicable to public agencies, state and federal grants and litigation experience.  The position requires the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in writing and orally.
