Account Management – Senior Specialist, Telstra Incorporated, New York, NY. Develop a complex client portfolio and conduct multiple critical account management duties. Provide strategic account management for multiple Telstra clients. Establish and maintain strategic client relationships and conduct a wide range of business development activities. Define executive level customer contact plans across multiple business units. Address significant internal and external stakeholder management issues. Develop and implement a Telstra executive contact strategy. Foster the achievement of revenue and sales objectives for a defined portfolio of strategic clients. Develop and implement account strategies through the deployment of account plans. Evaluate commercial trade-offs and competition issues to meet sales targets.
Must have a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Management, or a related field, plus 2 years of related sales experience in the IT industry.
Must have 2 years of experience with/in:
- Working in an account management role in the telecommunications industry;
- Leading virtual teams to deliver sales targets;
- Utilizing SalesForce CRM;
- Conducting business development activities and pursuing new clients;
- Preparing strategic plans to build a client portfolio within the IT field;
- Developing a sales funnel within the telecommunications field; and,
- Conducting consultative selling and utilizing customer-questioning techniques aimed at identifying new business opportunities.
