The City of Caldwell has an opening for a Director in the Public Works Department. Individual directs the public works and engineering activities of the City of Caldwell. This is an appointed position serving at the pleasure of the Mayor and Council. Direct supervision is exercised over the supervision of the Deputy Public Works Directors, the City Engineer, and the various Public Works Departments. Public Works manages the following divisions: City’s Engineering, Street, Municipal Separate Storm Sewer (MS4) & Drainage, Water, Sewer, Electrical/Street Lighting, Sanitation/Solid Wastes, and Irrigation programs and activities; performs related work as required.
