Job Description:
This position is in the Manufacturer Solutions Center of Excellence which is part of The Enterprise Analytics team under the McKesson Technology organization.
This role will be responsible for the provisioning and direct customer support for the McKesson Analytics Portal (MAP), which is McKesson's supplier facing reporting and analytics platform.
MAP is an external facing, subscription-based web portal allowing for on-demand access and providing insights into McKesson business through Sales, Inventory, Forecasting, Market Share, and Operational scorecards.
This role will be critical in shaping the future of the MAP platform and requires close collaboration with the product manager, Data Science, and Integrated Insights teams as well as stakeholders, and customers to create and maintain a scalable visualization strategy.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Tableau, Okta and ROR Administration including creating projects, groups and users as well as auditing existing projects and setting permissions.
Working directly with stakeholders to create visualization prototypes.
Scheduling demos and training sessions.
Troubleshooting customer issues with access, data and reporting.
Testing and deployment of new dashboards as well as updates.
Data card layout, visual language, and navigation across an extensive suite of dashboards.
Transformation of dashboards from a set of statistics and/or data sources into an informational and insightful story including integrating predictive analytics.
Be accountable for oversight and delivery of data visualization, aimed toward delivering insights for fast and accurate, fact-based, and predictive decision making.
Define processes and process improvements as it relates to the Software Development Life Cycle and the different methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall).
Participate in planning sessions, requirement analysis, impact analysis, estimates, as well as creation, and prioritization of the backlog of Epics and user stories.
Experience/Skill Set:
5+ years of relative experience
Expert in Ruby on Rails
Working knowledge of product development lifecycle (SDLC), starting from requirements gathering.
Creating, updating, and maintaining user and group information in the MAP technology stack
Adhoc reporting requests.
Monitoring best practices and changes in procedures and adjust the SOP documentation to ensure they are implemented by staff at all levels.
Making recommendations and identify opportunities to solve business problems through BI dashboards.
Product demos to customers and maintenance of business intelligence solutions include final report delivery in Snowflake using SQL/ Tableau/ and ensuring business needs are applied accordingly to new or existing IT solutions.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$104,400 - $174,000
