Under the direction of the Manager, Transportation Planning and Development, the Traffic Engineer provides support in developing and implementing initiatives related to traffic safety and management. Coordinates data collection, management and analysis to prepare technical reports and development of practices and protocols. Provides support in corridor management initiatives and related studies.   Day In the Life: Provide specialized transportation planning services and technical advice and expertise on transportation work programs to support the County Plans for, coordinates and/or undertakes Regional County Wide corridor transportation planning studies and development of traffic impact studies for transportation policy and infrastructure programming
