Under general direction, the Communications and Marketing Specialist performs professional duties in support of the District’s marketing, communications, and outreach programs and initiatives; assist in the development and implementation of community outreach initiatives to increase public awareness of the District’s programs and services; prepares a variety of marketing, educational, and promotional materials, including fact sheets, brochures, and press releases; provides complex staff assistance to the Communications and Marketing Manager; and performs related duties, as assigned.
