Ideal candidates will be experienced in planning, managing, and coordinating the activities associated with design and construction projects for various types of facilities, including gaming (casinos), hospitality (hotels, entertainment), food and beverage service, and to a lesser extent, retail. Preferred candidates will have previous Project Management experience on projects of greater than $5M in project value.
Critical to this role are skills and abilities gained through experience and education that include: scheduling, budgeting, subcontract agreements, procurement, various methods of design and construction; buy out/award, and construction documentation (subcontractor identification, bid tabulation, bid clarification, project management systems, etc.).
The ability to remain flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, is crucial. The Candidate should be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of managing multiple projects.
This position requires travel.
Preferences: Hard working, uncompromising integrity, personal humility 7+ years experience in a project management position with a college degree in a related field (construction management, architecture, engineering). Ability to multi-task and work quickly while maintaining an extremely high level of accuracy. Strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Ability to research complex issues and develops creative and effective solutions. Ability to meet multiple deadlines in an environment where requirements and priorities change frequently. Proficiency in job cost forecasting. Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated experience in accountability for the success of a project, both from a schedule and financial perspective. Solid history of managing commercial development or construction projects, and delivering the same on schedule and within budget. Fast Track experience preferred. ProCore experience preferred.
