Governors State University seeks a visionary, collaborative leader to serve as the Dean of the Library. The Dean is the chief administrator of the University Library and reports directly to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs.  The position is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced library administrator to lead the library faculty and staff, serve the students and faculty, and advance the mission and vision of one of Illinois’ public comprehensive universities.  The Dean of the Library is a 12-month administrative position with responsibility for the organization, administration, operation, and evaluations of university library services, physical facilities, faculty, staff, collections and budget.
