Postdoctoral Fellow: Electrical Therapies for Cancer
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Chirag Patel (Department of Neuro-Oncology) to study therapeutic alternating electric fields in cancer, or tumor treating fields (TTFields). The overall goal of the Patel lab is to understand the on-target and off-target effects of TTFields using pre-clinical models of glioblastoma (e.g., spheroids, animal models) to facilitate translation of promising strategies to help patients with glioblastoma. The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct TTFields experiments and perform various experimental readouts using techniques such as electron microscopy, mass spectrometry, western blot, qPCR, FACS, and time-lapse fluorescence microscopy.
