General Purpose The employee is expected to learn, qualify, and then perform the duties of Power System Coordinator I within 18 months from date of hire in the position. The qualified person in this position will ensure that the BED distribution system is at all times operated in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner according to procedures and guidelines to attain the objective of providing high-quality service to BED’s customers. In addition, this position operates BED’s Gas Turbine via Human Machine Interface.  Union: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
