The purpose of this position is to serve as a Transit Programs Manager.  This position manages and provides oversight of public transportation program funds administered by the Commonwealth; and provides transportation providers (urban, small urban, rural and human service transportation providers) with technical assistance in the areas of federal and state grant programs, capital and operations planning, congestion management, project development, and project management.   This position will also provide support in the development and refinement of agency policy, procedure, and documented processes using an interdisciplinary approach.
