Summary: The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Skidmore College invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in statistics beginning in September 2025. Both appointments will be at the rank of assistant professor.      A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research in an undergraduate liberal arts setting is essential. Successful candidates will teach a broad range of courses in our growing statistics curriculum and develop courses for our First-Year Experience (FYE) seminar program and senior seminar.  Faculty teach 18 contact hours per year, which is typically a 3:2 course load, with a course release in the first year.  Startup funds, pre- and post-tenure sabbaticals, and travel funds are also available.
