Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee a federal transportation construction project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either rail or logistics projects, with a minimum of six years of relevant experience. An advanced degree in engineering is required. The Program Manager will be responsible for the successful execution and delivery of the project, ensuring that all goals and objectives are met within the established timeframe and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:

   • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining key deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
   • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
   • Coordinate with stakeholders, including federal agencies, contractors, and other project partners.

2. Budget and Financial Management:

   • Prepare and manage the project budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
   • Monitor project expenses and implement cost control measures as needed.
   • Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.

3. Team Leadership:

   • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary project team.
   • Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring team members have the necessary resources and support.
   • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

4. Risk Management:

   • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
   • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
   • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and standards.

5. Communication and Reporting:

   • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
   • Prepare and deliver regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
   • Facilitate meetings and presentations as needed.

6. Quality Assurance:

   • Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures.
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure project deliverables meet required specifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working on rail or logistics projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale transportation construction projects.

• Education:

  • Advanced degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
